The short answer would be: NO!
But are they a reliable source of income that can make you quit your job? NO!
There are a lot of websites online that claim that you can make hundreds of dollar per week just filling out simple surveys. That is not true.
What can you expect is to be able to get that couple of dollars you want/need, once you find a good company that has regular surveys paying well. Surveys are a way of making quick, easy cash, just by giving your honest opinions. Many say it doesn't pay off, I say otherwise. I find myself in front of my computer, looking at it and doing nothing usefull.
Many have argued paid surveys, but did any of those survey takers do ANY effort into winning money? Have they signed up on several companies? No!
Why is that? Simple: The ones who put effort got more that what they were looking for: make money.
As they say, the hardest part is to start, as after you get paid for the first time, you'll enjoy it so much you won't stop. You'll then expand and register in some more sites. Then you'll start wanting to make more money. And you can. Internet is the business of the future
The key with online survey websites is to register in as many as possible, as most will get you just a couple per month. Some sites also have the possibility to participate in online and offline focus groups. These are groups of people who discuss a product or service. These are usual much better paid, but require some more work.
If you want to make some extra money: Try it.

Get More Money from Less Ads
There are several factors that affect the price of the Ads.
In general, Google tries to manage your ads in a way you'll get the maximum ROI (Return of Investment).
Also, in general, the highest paying ads will appear on the bottom of the list. But how can you actually get more money from fewer ads?
Well, it's quite simple. Imagine there are 4 high paying ads on a certain keyword. Now imagine you have 2 blocks of ads, with 4 each. The highest paying ads will be divided in the 2 blocks, on the bottom positions. However, people tend to click on the first ads on the list. This means you'll receive less from each click. Now imagine you have just one block of ads. The 4 high paying ads will be displayed, so you'll likely receive more money.
But why does Google place the highest paying ads on the bottom of the list? It's quite simple: Advertisers pay-per-click, they don't pay-per-impression. Ads on the bottom of the lists are less clicked, but that shows interest on the website. The people who click on those ads are more interested in the product.
So remember: Quantity is not always Quality.

Getting the Best Results on Search Engines - Part 2
As I promised, I’m back with more ways of promoting your website.
As I’ve told you earlier, another way of getting these backlinks, is by just posting on forums articles you write with your website in the end. Alternatively, you can post on non-related forums and use your sig do publicize your website.
Another way of doing it is commenting. Do you want to know how? First, find forums that are related to yours. Then find a post and comment. In that comment, post the link to your website somehow. Luckily, you’ll get good links. If you search for blogs that are rated the highest, it means that a backlink from them is also worth more. Get a lot of these and you’ll eventually surpass them.
Another method is a kind of cheating way. Use software to create hundreds of blogs. Submit these blogs to search engines. Then, post a link on them to your website, the one you want to promote. You’ll have hundreds if not thousands of backlinks and you’ll soon get #1 on MSN and soon enough, you’ll get other good spots on Yahoo and Google.
If you even want to optimize this even more, post a comment on every one of your blogs. You’ll be able to get even more links!
After all this, you’ll also be able to do something else: create more blogs. If your blog is rated high, if you create another blog/website and link from the high blog to that website, you’ll easily get nice spots.
After all this, you should be able to get some nice spots. Good luck.
NOTE: I'm NOT going to tell you the solftware you can use to do this. You can search on google, but be sure to find some credible reviews on websites so that you don't get scammed.

Getting the Best Results on Search Engines - Part 1
As many of you may know, it’s not easy to get quality traffic to your website. The easiest way of getting real traffic that you want is by search engines. But, it’s not easy to be the first website on most keywords, due to the amount of websites there are in the world today.
Google is the best search engine in terms of traffic, period. But it’s also one of the hardest and most complicated engines to dominate, as they have a great amount of websites and it’s not easy to beat the competition.
From the main ones: Google, Yahoo and MSN, you should first try to dominate this last one, which is, by far, the easiest one to get listed, up and running.
First of all, you need to know how these search engines work. Basically, they have ‘robots’ that surf the web in look for new websites to list. They then have to “read” the website and list it on the search engine according to some keywords. One of the first things you have got to do is get your website optimized for these ‘robots’, so that they know exactly what your website is about.
Another thing you need, is having other websites that link to yours. This is very important for all these ‘robots’, and it’s good if you can get well rated websites linking to you.
But how exactly can you get them? One way of doing it is submitting your articles to directories. One automatic way of doing it is using http://www.articlemarketer.com/, which submits your articles to a lot of directories and gets you a lot of backlinks, which is great. Unfortunately, not everyone is willing and able to pay for this kind of service which leaves us to the alternatives such as http://www.goarticles.com/. You can find them on Google (just search for “Article Directory”), so you can try to find them yourself.
Tomorrow, I’ll show you even more ways to promote your website, including a rocket method of getting the best results.

Top 3 Alternatives to AdSense
AdSense might be the best advertising program on the web, but it also has some problems, such as their strict policy.
Here I've compiled the top 3 best alternatives to Google's AdSense:
1 - Clicksor - It's hard to tell if this is the best, but I like it. They pay well, they have content sensitive ads. They pay a surprisingly big amount of money on clicks and the minimum payout is at just $20,00 if you use Paypal. The catch is that you can only have one ad per page, but it's nice anyways. You can join HERE.
2 - Yahoo Publisher Network - This is an almost exacly copy of Google's AdSense. It's still gaining popularity, but it's something you should consider.
3 - Bidvertiser - Although they don't pay as much as AdSense (duh!), Clicksor or even Yahoo Publisher Network, this is a valuable alternative because of the low minimum payouts, at only $10 by PayPal. Join them HERE.

Like to post on forums? Try revenue sharing forums
What are they?
Well, they are completely normal blogs with one catch: when you create a topic, your AdSense ads will show up on 50% of the visits it gets.
Get more interesting topics, and your revenue will increase.
Is this allowed by Google?
Yes, of at least, at the time of this post, there isn't anything on Google's terms that state otherwise.
Can I get a lot of money from this?
This is the problem. I wouldn't say to. The problem is that when people are on forums, they are only there to read the post, not the ads themselves. It's much less likely they'll click on them through these methods.
Do you have any example forum?
This method was created a few years ago, so there are a bunch of forums that support it. One of them is THIS.

Free ways of promoting your website
As I've told you earlier, to really profit online, you have to promote your website. One of the easiest ways of doing this is AdWords. But the problem, it's not free and not many people can actually afford it.
Here I'll talk about some other ways of promoting your website: for FREE!!!
1 - Forums - Find forums related to your website's topic. Register and post on the apropriate seccion. People will likely visit it and if they like, they might become "fans" and bookmark it.
2 - Submit to directories - There are several directories online. You should put your website on as many as possible, and that'll gather you some nice visits.
3 - Find other websites on related topics. Speak to the owner. Get your link on his website and his on yours. It works.
4 - Use a word to word promotion. Talk to your friends and family. If they like it, they'll talk to their and so on. That way, you'll be able to get a nice amount of money.
5 - Submit to search engines. This is the most important steps, as 99% of people use them all the time. I know it's not easy to get good results, but you should try and if your website is really good, you'll eventually get nice top spots.

Go Big or Go Home
That's right, that what you have to do: Go Big. Many people try to make online selling a single product and having only one website.
That won't work; I can tell you right now. You have to create a lot of websites, about lots of things, selling a lot of products (and choose quality products to sell, or your clients will stop visiting your website AND recommending people not go visit it).
Only that way you'll manage to have a good amount of income. And you can always study what works and what doesn't, so that you can stop a website that's giving you too much trouble and focus on others that profit. In this online world, you've got to manage your time and be able to actually increase your profits as much as you can.

Adsense - More clicks doesn't (always) mean more money
This is a strange fact I didn't know, but after studying the results I was getting with AdSense, I came to the conclusion that having a lot of clicks on links with almost no visits will not give you as much money as a lot of visits and fewer clicks.
Of course, this is not always true, but you should always try to get more visitors instead of getting them to click the ads (although you should do it).
I just thought I'd be nice to share this with you.

Affiliates Programs
This is another interesting way of making money online. You probably already know EBay or Amazon, don't you? And how about selling their products and receiving an amount of money?
That's exactly what you can do: you set up a store online and when someone pays you, you receive a part from the sale. Great, right? Well, but it's that easy to make money. If people know it's an EBay item why would they buy it from you? Well, it's simple: they don't. They don't by from you: you just point them to the item in question.
But how can you make money out of it? Well, it's quite simple. First you need a specialized website with a good amount of visits. Then, you must review some products. At the end of the review, you put a link to the item in question on EBay. Simple, right? Oh, and EBay is just an example, as you can have a lot more websites paying you for different products.
It's worth trying...

Xpango
As I promissed yesterday, here is a website where you get paid for offers. Well, you don't actually get paid, but you'll get nice gifts.
What's so good about this website is that unlike others, they ship for free to every country in the world.
On most offers, you'll have to pay a small fee, and you'll probably have to get some friends to join the website to be able to get the prize.
All in all, the offers are cheap and simple to get and the fact that the website sends the prizes to every country makes it a valuable website.
Try it, join HERE.

AdSense - Pre-made templates
The other day, as I was searching for some money making online oportunities, I faced a website which was selling pre-made templates. Don't buy them. Yes, they say they have hundreds of pages of content and all that, but do you know why it doesn't work?
It's simple: You make money according to how many people visit your page and click the ads. BUT, you'll NEVER be on first place on search engines. Care to know why? It's actually logical, because search engines automaticaly delete repeated articles.
I know some people who have been fooled by these offers, so I'm warning you. Don't be fooled by these scammers.
Offers - An Easy Way Of Getting Stuff
This, for once, is not actually a way of getting money. Of course that this deppends on the website your using, but you can get some pretty crazy stuff: From Playstations, to X-Boxes, Mobile Phones and several others.
To get them, all you have to do is complete some offers. Most require a Credit Card, but there are also some free ones.
Then, you'll have to get some friends to do the same. Easy, right? Well, it can be, but it might take you a wile to be able to get all the referrals you get.
I'll later post some good websites where you get things for completing offers.

AdWords tips - How to get more clicks
Ok, now your ad is on hundreds of website ready to be clicked. But it isn't? Why? I'll tell you some tips to improve the click %:
1 - Use capital letters on the beginning of every word. It's Strange, But If You Write Your Ads Like This, You'll Probably Have A Lot More Visits.
2 - Stick with a weekly budget. Don't rush and pay a lot for a keyword. Keywords that are good one day may not be the next, so don't get too extravagant.
3 - Include the words FREE or TRIAL in the link. It helps, as users are attracted by good offers.
4 - Be careful with your keywords. If you want to sell Golf Tennis be careful not to write it as a keyword, as a website that sells tennis (non Golf) will also have your ad.
5 - Test. Study the results. Change. Test. You'll have to do this over and over again, as only testing and re-testing you'll find what gives you the best results.
AdWords
Ok, so you got a website with some nice content and AdSense is installed but... it's not profiting?
The explanation is really simple: you have no visits. Nowadays, due to a great amount of people online writing about the same things, it's really hard to get regular visitors to your website. How can you get them? Well, the first and most important thing is to get visitors to your website.
There are several ways of making that: adding your website to directories, search engine, forums, etc., but the easiest one is probably using Google's AdWords. The advance of this service is that you'll probably pay for what you want. Let me rephrase: you won't be paying for getting your ad shown, but for every person that clicks the ad and actually goes to your website.
This will improve your revenue, because the more visits you get, the more likely it'll be that people click your ads and that'll make you money. Easy.
But how should you use AdWords? Well, you'll find out soon.
