The short answer would be: NO!
But are they a reliable source of income that can make you quit your job? NO!
There are a lot of websites online that claim that you can make hundreds of dollar per week just filling out simple surveys. That is not true.
What can you expect is to be able to get that couple of dollars you want/need, once you find a good company that has regular surveys paying well. Surveys are a way of making quick, easy cash, just by giving your honest opinions. Many say it doesn't pay off, I say otherwise. I find myself in front of my computer, looking at it and doing nothing usefull.
Many have argued paid surveys, but did any of those survey takers do ANY effort into winning money? Have they signed up on several companies? No!
Why is that? Simple: The ones who put effort got more that what they were looking for: make money.
As they say, the hardest part is to start, as after you get paid for the first time, you'll enjoy it so much you won't stop. You'll then expand and register in some more sites. Then you'll start wanting to make more money. And you can. Internet is the business of the future
The key with online survey websites is to register in as many as possible, as most will get you just a couple per month. Some sites also have the possibility to participate in online and offline focus groups. These are groups of people who discuss a product or service. These are usual much better paid, but require some more work.
If you want to make some extra money: Try it.

Crewbux pays!!!
Bux.to
Considered by many as a SCAM, Bux.to is going through some dificulties.
Payments are delayed, as they're still paying April and such.
They have a nice number of ads daily, each worth 1 cent. Min. Payout is $10 and you get 1 cent per referral's click.
There is a website that estimates the date you'll get paid, so you should try.
You can sign up HERE!
Neobux
Arguably the best PTC that exists today, NeoBux has a particular feature that atracts many: Instant Payments.
What does that mean? It means that you get paid as soon as you reach the min. payout (just $2!).
You get 1 cent per website and 1 cent per website your referrals view.
Sign-up today HERE!
PTC we've signed up with
PTC's are irregular. They come and go everyday. Finding one that keeps honest is hard.
But they still exist!
In the next few posts, I'll show you some I'm signed up on.

The website is back and a lot of changes will happen!
Expect new stuff coming as early as tomorrow!

Get More Money from Less Ads
There are several factors that affect the price of the Ads.
In general, Google tries to manage your ads in a way you'll get the maximum ROI (Return of Investment).
Also, in general, the highest paying ads will appear on the bottom of the list. But how can you actually get more money from fewer ads?
Well, it's quite simple. Imagine there are 4 high paying ads on a certain keyword. Now imagine you have 2 blocks of ads, with 4 each. The highest paying ads will be divided in the 2 blocks, on the bottom positions. However, people tend to click on the first ads on the list. This means you'll receive less from each click. Now imagine you have just one block of ads. The 4 high paying ads will be displayed, so you'll likely receive more money.
But why does Google place the highest paying ads on the bottom of the list? It's quite simple: Advertisers pay-per-click, they don't pay-per-impression. Ads on the bottom of the lists are less clicked, but that shows interest on the website. The people who click on those ads are more interested in the product.
So remember: Quantity is not always Quality.
